I thought Singaporeans are the most rational people on Earth….
You support Israel because of the material benefits from supporting that state… yea… a good example is to be in good graces with America…. You need not support Israel because of their ideology or their (or your) religion

I'm not a Christian and I don't agree with Christianity on various points, points which to me is actually unimportant but I always have respect for its essential teachings because of this:
**The only way we humans can experience God is through love. A religion is true to the extent that it teaches love
and is false to the extent that it instills hate.**
And this is the most essential underpinning observances of any true religion though I'm actually a non-monotheist. ;) The rest can be ideological encumberances in varying degree.
Although I don't normally give much
credence to prophecies yet I think St. Bernadette's prophecy about the nuclear mushroom over Iran will be fulfilled. It would be the wage earned. Her prophecy, after all, is a recent one from the nineteen century not one that's so long ago and is more likely to come true.
